10. Liz, Randal Barnes and Jerry Walraven from ASM and EDFAS team for providing me excellent reference letter about my contributions to EDFAS and ISTFA

Criteria 1
Evidence of your membership in associations in the field which demand outstanding achievement of their members

in order to satisfy this criteria , I obtained letter from ASM International. ASM International is a world renowned engineering and scientific society, dedicated to serving the material science and engineering profession. It has a network of over 36,000 members worldwide. ASM International provides authoritative information and knowledge on material and processes, from the structural to the nanoscale.

The Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS) was created in 1998 as an affiliate society to ASM International. It is a society and organization dedicated to an area of engineering involving a diverse combination of electronics and material analysis. Since there was no other organization or society at the time dealing with the issues of failure analysis, EDFAS was created. EDFAS provides the failure analysis industry with a forum to innovate, educate, share ideas, network with others in the field of failure analysis.

Criteria 2
Evidence of published material about you in professional or major trade publications or other major media

In this case, I provided a recommendation letter I received from Prof. Ravi Batra and a proof of his referencing my articles in his paper published in Review of International Economics titled “US Trade Deficit and Rate of Interest” More details can be read here

US Trade Deficit and Rate of Interest

Criteria 3
Evidence of your performance of a leading or critical role in distinguished organizations

In this case, I proved that I was not just a passive participant of the EDFAS. Rather I am actively and aggressively involved in EDFAS and the electronic failure analysis industry. This is evidenced by a letter from Executive Director of EDFAS which establishes that I have been involved with the International Symposium of Testing and Failure Analysis as a session chair person involved in the further advancement and education of electronics failure analysis. Moreover, the my contributions and involvement with the EDFAS is also evidenced by his article in the EDFA, Volume 15, Issue 2, which was published on May 1, 2013, titled: Mitigation of Counterfeit Electronics through Macroeconomic Policies.

Electronic Failure analysis is a field that encompasses materials science and engineering. It¢‚¬„¢s a discipline that involves the isolation of errors and flaws in a printed circuit board. It is a very specialized field, where engineers use the powers of physics, chemistry and electrical engineering to devise methods that are used to play detective and answer the question of what went wrong with a particular electronic component or device. Failure analysis is vital to the U.S. economy, as it can reveal any number of problems with electronics. The analysis, itself, is key because it can be used to improve the production of electronic devices from the very initial stages involving the design of the product.

I have been recognized as one of the most innovative failure analysis engineers. I provided reference letters from appropriate gentlemen in this regard. As a failure analysis engineer I am constantly gaining experience and knowledge on the developments of his field. In addition, My continued work with EDFAS will allow him to excel in the field of failure analysis in the United States and continue to make significant contributions to the semiconductor and US electronics industry. My work is vital to the U.S. consumer electronics, space, and defense industry and sectors.

Criteria 4
Evidence that you have been asked to judge the work of others, either individually or on a panel

In this case I provided an evidence of list of all papers that I had reviewed as member of technical program committee for International Symposium for Testing and Failure Analysis (ISTFA) 2008. I also reviewed papers as session chair for ISTFA 2009 and ISTFA 2010.

Criteria 5
Evidence of your original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business-related contributions of major significance to the field

In this case I provided details of my registered US Patent and got reference letters from industry leaders to show the innovation of my scholarly work. This can be viewed here
